About this tour
This session walks the gardens of Hospital de Sant Pau, a UNESCO-listed Modernista complex built as separate pavilions rather than one large building. You see the domed rooftops from between the pavilions and, up close, the ceramic tiling and sculpture on one entrance. It is a quieter, less crowded Modernista site than the city's famous churches.
I move between the pavilions at an easy pace, pointing out the decoration on each one, and take your questions on the building's original use as a working hospital. Afterwards I send a short note on what we covered.
This suits anyone interested in Modernista architecture with fewer crowds than Sagrada Família. It also works well paired with a session on the Sant Pere textile quarter nearby.

- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
