Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Urbanshop, LLC wants everyone to be able to find, book and manage tours on Locals Guide. We design and test the website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA, the standard referenced by EN 301 549 and the European Accessibility Act.
Compliance status
The website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. What we have done:
- Pages work with keyboard only; focus is always visible.
- Text and controls meet colour contrast requirements; the layout adapts to 320 px wide screens and 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
- Forms have visible labels, clear error messages and do not rely on colour alone.
- Images of tours carry text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- No time limits when you confirm and pay; no content that flashes.
Known limitations: photos and descriptions uploaded by guides may lack good text alternatives; some older PDF documents are not fully accessible; the embedded payment forms of payment providers are outside our direct control. We are working on these points.
Tours are live video sessions and calls provided by independent guides. Each tour page describes how the session runs. If you need captions, a slower pace or a call instead of video, ask us before booking and we will check with the guide.
Feedback and contact
