About this tour
This session follows oscypek from a grilling stall on Krupowki to the small workshop where my family still shapes and smokes it by hand. You see the cheese cooking over an open flame, then the shaping process that gives it its distinctive pattern. It is a close look at a cheese that can only carry its name if it is made in these mountains.
We start at the stall with a short sound check, then move to the workshop for the rest of the time. I explain the protected status and the process as we go and take questions throughout. A short list of where to find the best versions follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone curious about regional food and how it is actually made rather than just tasted. It also works well before a longer session in the mountains themselves.
Included

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
