About this tour

This short call is a briefing on Prague Castle's long history, given by someone who worked inside it as an interpreter for over a decade. Pavel explains how the site functioned as a seat of power across very different political periods. He also covers which parts of the complex reward a longer visit on video.

Pavel opens by asking what you already know about the castle, then builds from there. He answers questions throughout, since the call runs more like a conversation than a lecture. A short reading list follows the call by message.

This suits anyone planning a castle session who wants context first. It also suits viewers who cannot join a longer walk but still want the history explained properly.

How reviews work

Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
