Tibidabo, the widest view in the city
Highlights
- A church terrace above the whole city
- A funicular ride to Barcelona's highest hill
- The coastline seen in one wide view
- Statue and city, framed together
- Barcelona's single widest viewpoint
About this tour
This session covers the view from Tibidabo, the hill above Barcelona reached by an old funicular. You see the terraces of the Sagrat Cor church and then the view across the whole city and coastline from beside it. It is the single widest view the city has to offer.
I start near the church terraces and move for a clearer angle on the view, timing the session for good light over the coast. Questions are welcome throughout, and I send a short note afterwards.
This suits anyone who wants Barcelona explained from above before or after exploring it at street level. It also works well as an evening session as the light changes.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
