About this tour

This session covers Freedom Square and the Old Town Hall's entrance passage, home to a real stuffed crocodile known locally as the Brno dragon. You see the square's mixed Renaissance and Baroque facades, then the crocodile itself and the legend that grew up around it. It is a walk built around one of the city's stranger, more memorable details.

I start on the square and move into the passage for the second stop, timing the story so the crocodile is the clear finish. Questions come throughout, and I am happy to tell the legend a second way if the first version does not land. A short note on the town hall's crooked tower follows by message afterwards.

This suits anyone who enjoys local legend alongside real architecture. It also works well as a first session before the underground labyrinth close by.
