About this tour
This short session catches Templo de Debod at sunset, an Egyptian temple rebuilt in Madrid after being given to Spain decades ago. You see the temple platform and the reflecting pools that catch the sky's colour as the light fades. It is one of the best free sunset spots in the city.
We time the session so we arrive with enough light left to settle in before the colours peak. I keep the phone steady on the temple and the pools during the best minutes rather than moving around. Afterwards I answer questions while the last light fades completely.
This suits anyone who wants a calm, visual end to their day in Madrid. It also works well paired with the Retiro session for a fuller look at the city's green spaces.
