Gnocchi alla sorrentina, a kitchen call
Highlights
- The potato technique explained properly
- A method talked through, not scripted
- Questions answered from a real kitchen
- A written note sent after the call
- A dish you can cook, not just watch
About this tour
This call talks through gnocchi alla sorrentina from my own kitchen, focusing on the potato technique that decides whether the shape holds together. We cover the tomato sauce and the final bake with mozzarella, with time for your own questions throughout. It is a cooking conversation rather than a filmed walk.
We talk over Google Meet while I work through the method at my own pace, taking questions as they come up rather than following a fixed script. Afterwards I send a short note with the method written out.
This suits anyone who wants to actually cook the dish rather than only watch it made. It also works well booked alongside a walking session in town.

- A 30-minute call with a local guide
- Honest tips on where to eat, stay and what to skip

- The call is not recorded. Keep your own note of anything you want to remember, or wait for the follow-up message.
- Have your questions ready, though there is time to think of more as you go.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
