About this tour
This session covers the wooded slopes of Monte Urgull below the fortress, from shaded lower paths to old gun emplacements half-hidden among the trees. You see a quieter, greener side of the hill than the summit view offers. Garazi widens her shorter castle session into a fuller walk through the hill's woodland.
The walk moves down through the trees at an easy pace, pausing at each gun emplacement Garazi finds along the way, before descending toward the harbour side of the hill. She answers questions about the woodland's history and upkeep as the path continues.
This suits anyone who enjoyed Garazi's castle session and wants the fuller hill. It also works well for viewers who prefer a nature walk to a purely historical one.

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 6 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of San Sebastian before heading out.
-
Lower woodland paths 17 min
The camera follows shaded paths through pine and holm oak covering the lower slopes of the hill, quieter than the summit above.
-
Old cannon positions 17 min
Scattered gun emplacements sit half-hidden among the trees, and I explain how the hill's defences were adapted across different centuries of conflict.
-
Harbour-side descent 17 min
The path drops back down toward the old town and harbour, and I show how the hill separates the bay from the working port on its far side.
-
Your questions 11 min
Time to ask anything about San Sebastian: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 5 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Gâteau Basque and Gros, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
