About this tour
This session covers the Quadrilatero della Moda, Milan's fashion quarter, with the camera pointed at the buildings rather than the shop windows themselves. You see the facades above Via Montenapoleone's flagship stores, then a quieter corner nearby where original balconies have survived the street's transformation. It shows a side of the district most shoppers never look up to notice.
We start with a sound check partway down the street, since it stays busy for most of the day. I move to the quieter corner for the second stop and take questions about the district's history as we go. A short list of what we covered follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone who enjoys architecture over shopping, or simply wants a different way to see a familiar street. It also works well as a short addition to a longer walk through the centre.

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 5 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Milan before heading out.
-
Via Montenapoleone facades 15 min
The camera looks up at the nineteenth-century facades above the flagship stores, and I explain how the street shifted from residential addresses to fashion houses over the past century.
-
Via della Spiga corner 15 min
We turn onto a quieter corner nearby, and I point out a building that has kept its original balconies despite the street's transformation.
-
Your questions 7 min
Time to ask anything about Milan: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 3 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Risotto alla milanese and Brera, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
