About this tour
This session walks through the Palmengarten's tropical greenhouses and open lawns, a large botanical garden that has grown steadily since the 19th century. You see the contrast between the warm, dense greenhouses and the open outdoor grounds, and hear how locals actually use the space day to day. It moves at a calm, unhurried pace throughout.
We start inside the greenhouse, where the warmth and density reward a slower look, then move outside to the open lawns. I keep commentary light so the garden itself can carry much of the session. Questions about specific plants come naturally, and I answer what I can. A short map of the garden follows by message.
It suits anyone who wants a calmer, green session away from the denser old town. It also works well as a relaxing finish to a busier day of sightseeing.
