About this tour
This evening session looks at student life around Chatka Zaka, Lublin's main student cultural centre, and the streets nearby. You see the building itself and its role since the nineteen sixties, then the surrounding streets once the evening picks up. It is a look at a side of Lublin most old town visitors never see.
We start with a sound check outside the centre, then move through the nearby streets as the evening gets going. I explain the university's role in the city as we go and take questions throughout. A short list of venues follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone wanting a livelier, younger side of Lublin after an afternoon in the old town. It also pairs well with a castle or cathedral session earlier in the day.

The camera opens outside the student cultural centre, and I explain its role as the social hub for Lublin's large university population since the nineteen sixties.
