About this tour
This evening session covers Valencia's marina, redeveloped for the thirty-second America's Cup in 2007. You see the sail-shaped Veles e Vents building and the marina walkway now lined with bars and restaurants. It traces how a sailing event reshaped this stretch of the waterfront.
I start at the marina building and walk the length of the promenade as the evening lights come on, explaining the redevelopment as we go. Questions are welcome throughout, and I send a short note afterwards.
This suits anyone who wants Valencia's more modern waterfront rather than only its old town. It also works well as an evening session before dinner elsewhere.
