- A greenhouse from well beyond Europe
- A garden that survived wartime damage

About this tour
This session walks the Botanical Garden on Cathedral Island, one of the oldest in Poland. You see plant beds first laid out in the early nineteenth century and a greenhouse holding specimens from well beyond central Europe. It is a green, quiet session set apart from the island's churches nearby.
I start with a sound check near the oldest beds, then walk towards the greenhouse, pointing out a few specimens along the way. Questions are welcome throughout, and I send a short note afterwards on the garden's history.
This suits anyone who enjoys gardens or wants a calmer session away from the cathedral crowds. It also pairs well with the Ostrów Tumski session for a fuller day on the island.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

- A short list of places to visit later

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
