Sunset over Marsamxett Harbour
Highlights
- Valletta's quieter second harbour
- Sunset over Marsamxett's moored boats
- Sliema and Manoel Island across the water
- A calmer view than the Grand Harbour side
- Evening light over a working harbour
About this tour
This session looks out over Marsamxett Harbour, the quieter of Valletta's two harbours, as the sun sets across the water. You see boats moored for the night and the view across to Sliema and Manoel Island as the light changes. The camera stays on the public viewpoint throughout.
I hold on the view as the light shifts, pointing out landmarks across the water, and take questions throughout. I send a short note afterwards on what is visible from this side of the peninsula.
It suits anyone who wants a calmer, quieter sunset session away from the busier Grand Harbour side. It also pairs well with the Waterfront evening session on the other side of the city.

- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.

- Sessions run in small groups, up to 8 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
