About this tour
This session follows the old tram 28 route on foot, from the Miradouro da Senhora do Monte down through the Sé cathedral and Chiado to Estrela Basilica. The camera takes in the viewpoint over the rooftops, the Roman ruins beside the cathedral, and the bookshops of Chiado, before finishing at the basilica's garden. It is the shape of the historic tram line, walked rather than ridden.
The call opens with a sound check, then follows the route stop by stop as the guide points out what each district looks like today, with questions welcome throughout. A short list of the stops covered is sent once the walk is done.
This suits anyone who has taken or wants to take the tram 28 route, or simply wants a sense of how the old city's hills connect to each other.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
