I worked briefly for a textile company that once used a building very like CaixaForum, so I know how those old factory floors were actually laid out before conversion. On camera I stay in the courtyard, where the brick chimney and Modernista ironwork are easiest to see together. In Poble Sec I look for the surviving traces of the 1929 International Exposition, easy to miss among the later buildings. I keep both sessions grounded in how one use of a building gives way to another.
