Adriana Mikušová

I trained as an art historian focused on Central European Art Nouveau, which is why I can explain exactly what makes the Blue Church's ceramic tiles unusual even among buildings from the same period. On camera I stay close to the facade's curved lines, since photographs rarely capture how the colour changes in different light. I also spend time most weeks at Nedbalka, a private gallery holding Slovak art many visitors never hear about. I keep my sessions detailed rather than broad, since both buildings reward close attention rather than a quick glance.
