About Agnieszka
I studied theatre in Gdansk and worked backstage for a season before I started guiding, so the Shakespeare Theatre call is close to my heart. On camera I show how the modern building echoes the layout of the original Elizabethan playhouse that once stood nearby. Afterwards, on Ołowianka Island, I walk past the old granaries and explain how grain storage once shaped this city's whole economy. I like connecting a single building to the bigger story behind it rather than treating each stop as separate.
