Alberto Guzmán

I studied art history with a focus on El Greco, who spent most of his working life in this city, and I still think Toledo is the only place to really understand his paintings properly. On camera I walk to the church holding his best-known work here and to the small museum dedicated to him nearby, explaining what made his style so unusual for its time. I keep my sessions focused rather than trying to cover the whole city's art scene in one go. I answer questions about specific paintings in as much detail as anyone wants.
