Aled Thomas

I trained in architecture before moving into guiding, and Cardiff's civic buildings are still what I find most interesting about the city. On camera I like to read out a line or two of the poem cut into the arts centre's bronze front, since it changes how people look at the whole building afterwards. I also enjoy showing the museum from its steps, explaining the collection before anyone has even walked inside. I keep my calls focused and well paced, and I always check what you already know before going further.
