Alessandro Ferrero

I trained as an Egyptologist and worked briefly cataloguing objects at the museum before I started guiding, so its collection is what I know most thoroughly on camera. I walk through a handful of galleries, choosing objects that tell a clear story rather than trying to cover the whole collection in one session. On a shorter call, I also explain how the collection itself was assembled, since the history of collecting is almost as interesting as the objects. I keep my explanations precise, since Egyptology rewards accuracy over drama. I answer questions about specific artefacts in as much detail as anyone wants.
