I grew up near the Botanical Garden and I still think early morning is the best time to show it, before the paths fill up and the light comes low through the Japanese garden's trees. On camera I keep a relaxed, unhurried pace, following one loop of the garden rather than trying to cover every corner. I also run a shorter session at the central market, pointing out the cheese and cured meat stalls I have bought from for years. I keep things brief and take questions as they come. Video works well for a market, since the camera moves between stalls faster than I can explain them.
