About Alexandra
I am a hiker first and a guide second. I grew up in the Schei district of Brașov, the old Romanian quarter outside the Saxon walls, and my father took me up Piatra Craiului when I was nine. That ridge is still my favourite place in the country, a long limestone wall with edelweiss in July and chamois if you are lucky. I studied French in Cluj and worked for a mountain hut before joining here this spring. From Brasov, I now guide on live video with my phone, and the chat stays open for your questions the whole time.
