Climbing the Giralda is still my favourite thing to film, mostly because the ramps instead of stairs mean the camera stays level with almost no shake the whole way up. I used to work in restoration and still notice the joins between the original minaret and the later bell section added centuries afterward. Germans on my calls tend to ask precise questions about construction dates, so I keep a short timeline ready. I also spend time at Casa de Pilatos, filming from its entrance courtyard since the interior rooms are only open to ticket holders once inside.
