The old port by the Ploče gate is where my family used to keep a small boat, so it is the part of Dubrovnik I know best without needing a guidebook. On camera I walk from the gate along the harbour, then some evenings I head to Banje beach just outside the walls for the sunset instead. Both are places locals actually use rather than only visit once. I am newer to guiding than some, so I keep my sessions focused on these two specific spots rather than trying to cover the whole city loosely.
