I trained as an illustrator before guiding, so I notice details in art and icons that most people walk straight past. On camera I like pairing the town's small museum of cat-related art with the icons in the nearby Orthodox church, since both say something different about what this town has valued over time. I also offer a short planning call for anyone deciding between a walk along the lower walls or a stop at the river gate, since both take a similar amount of time but show very different sides of the town. I speak some Italian too, useful given how many guests write to me in it.
