Ana Lomidze

I grew up on a lane in Sololaki, under balconies my grandmother could name by the family that carved them. On camera I hold on one facade at a time rather than sweeping past a whole street, because the woodwork only makes sense up close. I take people from Freedom Square down toward Rustaveli once the shops have closed and the avenue empties out, when the old buildings read clearly against the evening light. I answer questions about a building's history as they come, and I am happy to circle back to a detail if someone asks.
