Ana Ristić

I trained as an archaeologist and spent three seasons excavating at Mediana before I ever thought about guiding on camera. I show the mosaic floors from the Roman villa complex and explain how an emperor born in this city ended up shaping events far beyond it. On the fortress side of the river I also point out the old mosque, one of the few Ottoman buildings still standing here. I keep a careful, steady pace since the detail in stonework and mosaic is easy to miss on a screen, and I answer technical questions happily.
