I have guided in Lucca for years, and Torre Guinigi is still the stop people remember afterwards, camera tilted up to show the holm oaks growing directly out of the tower's rooftop garden. I also cover Torre delle Ore nearby, explaining how its mechanical clock is still wound by hand rather than run electronically. I keep my shots wide when filming the towers, since height matters more than detail there. On camera I try to explain why a tower would grow trees at all rather than just stating the fact.
