Andrea Villa

I trained in art history focused on nineteenth-century royal architecture, so Miramare, the castle built on a rocky point for Archduke Maximilian, is where my first session happens. My other session covers the Faro della Vittoria, a lighthouse and war memorial on a hill above the city, timed for a view over the Carso plateau behind it. I like showing two very different Trieste landmarks, one built for a prince and one for the dead of a war, in the same afternoon. I keep a measured, respectful pace.
