Andreas Solomonides

I studied Cypriot archaeology and volunteered at the Cyprus Museum for two years before I began guiding calls. On camera I stay at the museum's entrance and courtyard, describing the collection gallery by gallery from memory, since filming stays outside its exhibition halls. I explain how the museum's Neolithic and Bronze Age sections connect to sites across the whole island, not just Nicosia. I answer detailed archaeological questions more happily than almost anything else I guide, since the collection rarely gets this level of explanation outside the museum itself.
