Andreas Vogel

I trained as an art historian and worked for some years on Museum Island itself, so I know which viewpoints along the water give the best sense of the five museums sitting together on one small island. On camera I stay mostly along the riverbank and bridges, since the museums themselves sit behind tickets I cannot bring on camera, but I describe specific rooms and pieces in enough detail that you know what to expect inside. I also guide a shorter session on the Neue Nationalgalerie's glass building nearby. I keep a formal pace with plenty of context and welcome specific questions about individual collections.
