Anke Willems

I worked for years in retail on the Meir before I started guiding, so I know the street's architecture as well as its shops, and I like pointing out the building details that most shoppers never look up to see. My other session covers the Art Deco gates of the city zoo, a favourite corner of Antwerp that has nothing to do with shopping at all. I keep sessions light and conversational, and I am happy to answer questions about everyday life in Antwerp alongside the history. My style is warm and a little chatty.
