I run a small stall on the Rambla two mornings a week, so I know the arcades and the cafe owners by name, which helps when a session runs into the market's chatter. I enjoy pointing the camera at the cathedral steps and telling people exactly which corner the television crews used, because visitors are always surprised how small the real set was. I studied tourism in Girona and have guided on video since the pivot, so I plan each route around the light rather than the clock. I keep the pace unhurried and I am happy to double back if something in the square catches your eye first.
