Antoine Bousquet

Jardin des Plantes is where I spend most of my quieter mornings, France's oldest botanical garden and a short walk from the noise of the centre. I also run a cooking call built around petits pâtés de Pézenas, a strange sweet and savoury mutton pie most visitors never hear about. On camera I like holding on a single plant or a single pastry step rather than rushing through either. I trained originally as a horticulturist before guiding, which shows in how much time I give to what is actually growing. I speak French and English.
