I have walked Marselisborg Forest most weekends for years, mostly to see the free-roaming deer that give the park its name. On camera I follow a forest path first, explaining how the deer park has been managed within the wider woodland for over a century. I then move to the Botanical Garden nearer the centre, pointing out the greenhouses and a few plant collections organised by region. I keep my pace slow in both settings, since neither rewards rushing. Video guiding shows Aarhus's green spaces better than a written description ever could, especially when the deer happen to be close to the path.
