Aurélie Cottier

I studied art history and worked briefly at the Fondation de l'Hermitage before I started guiding, so its villa and gardens are where I feel most at home on camera. Inside, I hold the phone steady in front of a small selection of works rather than trying to cover a whole exhibition. A short way outside the city, I also cover the vineyard terraces above the lake, worked continuously since the 11th century, since I think the two sessions say something similar about patience and craft. I keep both sessions slow and specific rather than rushing between rooms or rows. I always leave time for questions at the end.
