I trained as a singer, so Casa di Puccini means more to me than most stops on my route, and I explain what the composer's childhood home actually looked like before it became a museum. Nearby, I film the gold mosaic covering the top of San Frediano's facade, angling the camera so the colour catches properly in daylight. My sessions move at a fairly relaxed pace, since both stops reward stopping rather than walking past quickly. I try to bring in a little of Puccini's music by description rather than playing anything myself.
