Benedetta Testa

I live in Oltrarno, and my sessions follow its artisan workshops rather than any single landmark, camera moving between open doorways where leatherworkers and framers still practise trades that have run in the same streets for generations. I explain what each craft actually involves as we pass, rather than just naming the trade. I keep the pace relaxed, since the neighbourhood rewards wandering more than a fixed route. My sessions end near the river, where the workshops give way to a quieter stretch of the bank.
