I trained as a historian specialising in Bavarian architecture, so a small private church built by two brothers for their own devotion feels like a personal favourite rather than a standard stop. On camera I move slowly through its densely decorated interior, explaining why the space feels so packed for its size. My second session looks at the old town's merchant houses, where upper floors built for storing goods still show the openings once used to haul cargo up from the street. I keep a formal, careful pace suited to detail most visitors walk straight past.
