Bernhard Gruber

I have lived in Urfahr my whole life, just below Pöstlingberg, so I know the hill in every season and every light. On camera I follow the promenade along the Danube before climbing toward the hill, pointing out how the river shaped the city's industrial history along the way. I worked for a season on the old mountain railway's maintenance crew, so I can explain how it still runs on its original steep grade. I keep the pace unhurried on the climb, since the view back over the city is worth a proper pause rather than a quick glance.
