I have worked behind Reykjavik bars for over a decade, so the city's nightlife street and the bars along it are where I am most useful, whether I am walking Laugavegur on camera or talking it through on a call. I like explaining how the scene actually works, which nights suit which crowd, rather than just filming a busy street. Five years of guiding has taught me to keep a call conversational and follow whatever someone actually wants to know. I always send a short note afterwards with more detail for anyone planning their own evening.
