Burak Şen

I trained in museum studies before I started guiding on camera, so the Anatolian Civilizations museum is where I feel most at home explaining things properly. On camera I slow down at a handful of pieces rather than trying to cover the whole collection in one session. I also guide walks through Hamamönü, the restored old quarter, since the contrast between the low houses and the modern city around them is easy to miss without someone pointing it out. I keep things brief and let the objects and the buildings do most of the work.
