Mathew Street and the Cavern Club are where I have run calls longest, mostly because the street still changes shape every few years without losing what made it famous. I like showing the cellar steps down into the club before talking about who actually played there and when. I grew up nearby and worked in a record shop before guiding took over as my main job. I keep the history accurate rather than repeating the stories that get exaggerated on tour buses.
