Camille Favre

Bonjour, I am Camille. I was born in Carouge, the little Sardinian town that became part of Geneva, and grew up above my parents' wine shop on the Place du Marché. I studied history at the University of Geneva and worked for six years as a visitor guide at the Palais des Nations before starting my own tours. Geneva is a city of exiles, reformers, bankers and diplomats, and it has always been more international than Swiss. I like to explain how a small Protestant republic became the home of the Red Cross and the United Nations. I am organised and I speak clearly in four languages, and yes, I will recommend a good fondue. I now guide live on video from Geneva, with my phone as the camera and time for your questions all the way through.
