I have guided evening sessions through Centrul Vechi for years, and I still think the neighbourhood changes completely once the shops close and the bars fill the same streets. On camera I walk the same lanes I show by day, pointing out how differently they look lit up after dark. I keep a formal, informative pace by habit, though the subject itself is livelier than most of my other sessions. I welcome questions about the neighbourhood's nightlife history as much as its current scene. Video works well for an evening street, since the camera can move at whatever pace the crowd itself keeps.
