I have sold ceramics at the Auer Dult fair three times a year since I inherited the stall from my grandmother, so I know the fairground better than almost anyone else guiding here. In a call from my own storage room I show pieces passed down through the trade and explain how the fair has kept running on the same square for centuries. My second session looks at the Au district's everyday food stalls, from roasted almonds to a proper Bavarian snack stand. I keep a warm, unhurried pace and happily stop wherever something catches your attention first.
