I run one evening session along a canal known for its bars, and separately a planning call that goes through the city's Roman and Pilgrim-era history in order before you see any of it yourself. I like the call format for history specifically, since it lets me answer particular questions properly rather than rushing past them on a walk. On the evening session I keep commentary lighter and let the atmosphere carry more of it. I keep both formats fairly formal, which most of my regular viewers seem to prefer.
