I moved into Marvila for the cheap rent years before anyone called it an arts district, and watched the old factories around my building fill up with studios and breweries one by one. On camera I walk between the converted spaces during the day, explaining what each building used to manufacture, then return after dark to show the same streets once the breweries and bars open. I keep both sessions honest about the neighbourhood's rough edges rather than only showing the polished parts. Four years of guiding later, I still find a new studio opening most months.
